Let’s face it, today’s job market is a candidate driven one. And you know what they say — have a good experience and you’ll tell one person about it; have a bad experience and you’ll tell thousands. But are recruiters actually taking heed of this? Oh, you bet. Our recruiters are on a mission to improve candidate experience by answering the question:

“How can I deliver memorable and sharable experience?”

But where do the great ideas come from?

At L’Oréal, great ideas can come from virtually anywhere: interns, countries, customers sharing their best ideas out of excitement for our brand, for instance.

But most of all, they come from working together as a team to get the challenge cracking and figuring out how we can deliver an experience that makes you speechless — as a customer or a candidate. You never know, you might be both!

Right, the ideas come from anywhere and everywhere. That’s why at L’Oréal we have various labs across the group to spark ideas, one of which is the Recruitment Lab bringing together 160 recruiters, digital and employer branding experts to hunt innovative ideas, adopt global best practices and to design the new vision of recruitment at L’Oréal.

The Recruitment Lab is only one of many examples of collaborative relationships that provide L’Oréal with a broad, flexible and ever evolving approach towards innovation across the Group. Together we can combine and leverage our expertise to advance new ideas, technologies, and solutions with the potential to positively impact your experience with L’Oréal and beyond.

The art of balancing quality with speed is always challenging. No matter how many products or solutions we launch, we’ll likely always have that weird feeling lingering in the back of our mind — is it good enough? Can it be any better? Yet, the challenge with perfection is that it can slow us down. As L’Oréal’s mantra is pretty much — test, and let yourself make mistakes, we caught up with our Recruitment Lab teams to see what are they cooking in their labs to improve the candidate experience.
